It’s the end of March but it’s feeling a lot like Christmas today. Everyone’s been dying to get their hands on the NX300 since its sneak peak at CES a couple of months ago, and yesterday, we officially debuted the device to the world. Of course, we couldn’t leave our dear readers hanging, so we nabbed one to show off to you guys!
This gem of a device comes with a retro twist to its design in black, brown, and white (the leather-like look is a nice touch). But the “retro” feel stops there: It’s loaded with a bevy of the latest functions and features that are, of course, totally smart and intuitive.
One of its main features is the hybrid auto-focus (AF) that fuses phase and contrast detection and allows you to focus at lightning speed. It boasts a maximum shutter speed of 1/6000 and 8.6 frames per second for JPG, along with a touch-enabled 3.31-inch AMOLED display. Its built-in Wi-Fi means that sharing is a whole lot faster and efficient, which is really what a SMART CAMERA should do, right?
So with bated breath, we introduce to you the Samsung SMART CAMERA NX300!
The spiffy box where our NX300 is waiting to be opened.
And OPEN!
We’re showing you the white NX300, along with all the accoutrements, but remember it comes in black and brown as well.
The warranty, manual, software, and…the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 (you’re welcome).
And here’s the main character, the white NX300.
Here we are, snapping in the 18-55mm lens, but the NX300 also allows for the groundbreaking 45mm 2D/3D interchangeable lens!
The 3.31-inch AMOLED touch screen can tilt up 90 degrees and down 45 degrees.
The built-in Wi-Fi mode comes in super handy for sharing and uploading files.
Shooting videos in Full HD is a cinch.
The side view with a HDMI port. You can see how there’s a comfort grip for your thumb to rest when holding the camera.
The APS-CMOS sensor lets you take photos up to 20.3 megapixels.
So now that we’ve showed you everything there is to the NX300, we hope you’ll be inspired to go and test it out for yourself. Make sure to come back and tell us what you think!
